Frequently Asked Questions for Parents

Who is Page Turner Adventures?
Page Turner Adventures is the creation of Jill Ross Nadler and Kenny Mikey. The series combines stories and steampunk circus in supersized productions that redefine the meaning of audience participation. Jill plays the intrepid Storyologist, Page Turner. Kenny is her slap-stick sidekick. Together, they transform children into Storyologists and send them on comic quests to collect, tell, and write stories. Viewers become the main character in the story, interacting directly with the actors which enhances their educational experience. Kenny, a former Ringling Bros. clown, and Riley, a professional storyteller and author, are an Emmy, Telly and iParenting Award Winning Video duo who have been producing educational and social emotional content for schools and television for over twenty years, including the Travel Channel, Scholastic, and PBS.

What can I expect?
In this six-week series, children will transform into Storyologists, virtually traveling through the “Once Upon a Time Machine” to explore different adventures with Page Turner and Kenny. There are five days of programming for each weekly theme which includes comedy shows, virtual field trips, craft projects and recipes.

By turning the audience into the main character of the story, the shows empowers kids to become readers and writers. The performances combine slapstick, storytelling, and larger-than-life props and costumes for a totally unique virtual theatrical experience.

What age group is this program best for?
The virtual summer program is best suited for children in grades K-3.
